I'm wondering if this is their version of a fruitcake! It's as heavy as a door stop! They are near the checkouts at the grocery stores.

There sure are a lot of different things here in the way they get ready for the holidays, but in the midst of it all we are enjoying some of our own traditions!!

And the little Christmas market at our cathedral in Clermont- Ferrand. It is open Mon- Sat from 10-10 until Christmas. Henry's class will go there on a field trip this week for the children to buy gifts for their parents! I can't wait to see what he picks!
