Gant had a meeting in Lyon so I was able to join him for the day. I felt like such a little European- he dropped me off in the middle of town and said he would be back in 5/6 hours, and I was totally fine- not even a bit nervous!
Lyon was so beautiful for walking around and window shopping.
I had a nice lunch with a traditional Lyonaise salad
Walked around and stumbled upon...
Woohoo!!! It's the little things that are sometimes the biggest treats!
Afternoon tea with my Kindle- so nice.
The bridges over the Rhone River are so pretty!
A few days later some friends and I went to the Emile Henry tent sale about an hour away.
Its a warehouse full of very discounted cook ware all made right here.
They have every color under the rainbow but of course I had to get white!!
I found this buffet at goodwill for next to nothing- a fun find!
We ended the week with a few days off for Easter and a lot of fun family time. However, it was NOT an Easter that felt anything like one at home. I'll admit a French Easter message is a bit tough to get into! But we had a good day with our friends, the Jennings family.
They were so gracious to have us over for the whole day!
It was a cold day but very sunny!
Here are some of the windows around town in the Chocolate Shops- pretty cute displays!
