The French Adventure: An epic reunion

Here we are on the first night of our reunion!

Meg and Travis, Laura and Brian, Ginger and Ben, and Amie and Frank - the guys have all known each other since high school or before!

Guys morning bike ride and a day trip to Egalyieres, a nearby town with a gorgeous view of the area.

The guys left Provence before us to drive to the Pyrenees to see the Tour de France! They appear to have had a really good time goofing around in the rain!

And the girls went in a separate car back to Clermont- Ferrand

And finally we all met back for one last day together. Henry was so thrilled to see these folks- in many ways, they are like second parents to him!

And for our last night we had an authentic seven course French meal. It was actually our 16th wedding anniversary and it was so fun to share it with them and they were so generous to treat us to dinner!

We still can hardly believe the trip actually happened!! There were 15 children represented from these families and with all of the different camps, grandparents, friends and logistics involved it was nothing short of a miracle that it came together!

We are blessed BEYOND measure to have these lifelong friends.
