And here are the Christmas markets loaded with delicious treats- oysters, potato dishes, hot wine, waffles, and roasted chestnuts.

A reminder of the typical size Christmas tree in France...
See the scale?
We found a really big one this year! It was actually shipped to us from another region of France and came on the UPS truck with a barcode around the middle!!
Here are some Christmas goodies in the bakeries

Here is the small Christmas market at Henry's school- it is a place for the children to buy gifts for their family for just a few euros-such a precious idea.

A cute British mom working the market-
Adorable!!!
My friend Allie and I hosted a Christmas ornament exchange for all of the Americans. It was such a fun night and everyone brought great food!!
Here are some pictures of Henry's school concert in the Cathedral. As I sat there waiting for it to begin, I felt very emotional. At this same concert last year, Henry was still pretty unsure about his French and although he did a great job, I know he was not entirely comfortable. This year, he was excited and the French singing seemed old hat. What a difference a year makes!
A celebratory dinner with some families after the concert. I need to help Henry with his photo face!
Here are some pictures of France at Christmas time from a French blog I follow- the good life France - there are some beautiful shots of the country this time of year!
These were the men delivering Mistletoe to the markets.
Henry told me I haven't been in many pictures lately so here I am! I am usually the one taking the pictures I guess! I'll post more soon!
